Cape Town

This week I happened to come across an article about a major city in South Africa, Capetown. The article stated that the town is running out of water and the 4 million people living there will no longer have access to running water. This got me thinking about how fortunate I am. Many times, I take things for granted but reading about 4 million people not having access to such a basic necessity such as water really got me thinking about how fortunate I am. Many of us probably have never had the fear of not having water. Water is something easily accessible in the United States. Water is also something that many people over use and don't even think about it. While brushing my teeth, I always leave the water running not even thinking about how much water I am wasting. I hope Capetown finds a solution for these 4 million people because water is an absolute necessity to human survival.
Are you writing about this? Researching this? We need to do much better! There are some really fascinating but troubling documentaries on this. Here's FLOW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvtnVQPxmzM
